Young researcher grants

The participation and contribution by young researchers is highly appreciated and encouraged. One of the major workshop aims consists in fact in stimulating scientific discussion among the members of the microwave community, giving the opportunity to young researchers to present their ideas and to receive suggestions, encouragements and opportunities.

To this goal, Young Researcher Grants have been issued, to encourage and ease the participation to INMMiC.

A Young Researcher Grant consists in a free full subscription to the workshop, including social activities, together with a contribution to hotel accomodation during the workshop. Grants for this workshop will be sponsored by the Spanish Section of IEEE.

A limited number of grants is available.

who may apply

Two main requisites are necessary to apply for a Young Researcher Grant:

The applicant has to be a junior researcher, i.e. a PhD student or hold an equivalent position, stated by a declaration of her/his supervisor that must be received together with the application.

The applicant should have a contribution accepted for presentation in INMMiC.

The applicant must present her/his contribution during INMMiC.

HOW To APPLY

Applications for the Grant must be submitted by September 10th, together with the title of the submitted contribution to inmmic@ic.uma.es (Please include in the e-mail subject: INMMiC 2008 Young Researcher Grant )
